Girljournalist is a tech-savvy social media expert whose breadth of work varies across mediums. I used a masonry style board to bring visual cohesion to her various projects and chose a slab-serif combined with bright, trendy colors to represent her journalism background blending with her high-energy proximity to the tech space.
I planned the site architecture, designed and implemented the first iteration on Wordpress. Plus, I interviewed her to write the original About Me page and provided her headshot. She has taken over management of the site.
Kimberly Mitchell Photography became a household brand within two years through user-centric prouduct iteration and marketing-focused creative.
I designed the product to provide the best possible experience from beginning to end. In the web site you can see my work from planning the site architecture, and designing the look & feel, to strategizing and writing content then implementing on Wordpress. In my portrait work you can see more of my style and my ability to put people at ease and earn their trust to capture them looking relaxed and natural.
Dr. Kao has a reputation for providing excellent patient care and is one of the only fertility specialists in the area who speaks Chinese. He consulted me when opening a solo practice to help reach a large Chinese patient base.
I performed requirements gathering and provided the site architecture and initial design within a limited scope. This site is responsive and multi-lingual. Dr. Kao has relocated and closed this practice.
Okinawa Hai is an informational community web site for expats moving overseas. I was a key team member for the original product and web site design and helped shape the direction of the site in it's early years. I provided the technical development to launch on MovableType and later migrate to WordPress. I'm no longer involved in the management or maintenance of this project.
